Smart reporting applications, hiding the complex statistics inside, combined with the possibilities offered by the internet can make reporting activities easier and more cost efficient while increasing the reliability of the results.
Today's traditional research value chain is slow, passive and rarely uses innovative statistical models and knowhow. The ‘classic’ process to get results from survey research is slow due to the labour intensive analytic and reporting phase. The production of reports using off the shell statistical packages is the prime occupation of traditional research organisations.
Today the speed of this process is typically increased through e-surveying. Response curves learn that in a matter of days, the data collection phase can be achieved. However the expensive processing (statistical analyses) and reporting (producing tables and graphics) step is far from optimized.
